The Democratic Alliance (DA) in KwaDukuza Municipality (KDM) would like to inform Warrenton residents from Gibson Street and all roads above it up to Geranium Street that they now fall within Ward 17 in KDM
This as the Demarcation Board has finalized boundary changes for the Local Government Elections on 4 November 2026.
Residents in the affected area are urged to register, re-register or update their voter registration details to ensure they are correctly registered. First-time voters are also encouraged to register. Registration Weekend takes place on 20 and 21 June at Stanger Manor Primary School.
All residents should also check their registration details, as boundary changes may affect the ward in which they vote. Remember, in local government elections, you can only vote where you are registered.
