The Democratic Alliance (DA) Caucus in the City of uMhlathuze wishes to extend its sincere congratulations to the Municipality on the successful completion and official opening of the state-of-the-art, multi-million-rand soccer stadium.

This facility not only meets all the professional standards required to host Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches, but it also represents a significant asset to the city. The ability to host prestigious tournaments and games will undoubtedly boost local tourism and create new economic opportunities for residents.

The first of many matches will be hosted at the stadium this coming weekend, a moment of pride for the entire community.

In addition to this sporting milestone, the city has also taken ownership of several new vehicles and yellow plant equipment, which will further enhance its service delivery capabilities. A strong and capable fleet remains one of the most critical components in ensuring that services reach residents efficiently and reliably.

These achievements are a direct result of a focused, stable, and committed coalition government that continues to prioritise development, accountability, and delivery.

The DA Caucus is proud to be part of a governing partnership that places the needs of the people of uMhlathuze first.

We look forward to continued progress and more success stories as we build a city that works for all its residents.
