The Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) can today announce that our much-awaited court case against the eThekwini municipality on the sewage crisis will be held on 29 and 30 May 2025 before a full bench of the High Court.
The DA-led court case will be a seminal moment for the people of eThekwini as we fight to ensure their rights are protected against the reckless action of the ANC-led municipality.
We are the only party that has ensured this case is fully funded by the DA and we have not sought money from the public like other parties have done, like ActionSA. We are still unsure what happened to the money or where it went.
The DA continues to fight for the residents of eThekwini and will deliver victory for them from the actions of eThekwini.
