The Democratic Alliance (DA) in eThekwini sends our heartfelt condolences to the families of the two eThekwini Metro Police officers who were shot dead yesterday morning.
The officers, Lindokuhle Madonsela and Ndumiso Innocent Thusi were ruthlessly killed in the Hammarsdale township on their way to work. They were in their full uniform.
The killing of law enforcers is now becoming a norm in eThekwini. Last year, around this time, two Metro Police officers were shot dead in eThekwini while guarding a Councillor’s home.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of these two Metro Police officers and are calling for urgent action to be taken to arrest the perpetrators.
