The people of KwaZulu Natal deserve better than empty promises and rhetoric. While MEC Francois Rodgers is working tirelessly to reduce non-essential spending, ensure essential services are not compromised, and root out corruption, the ANC Youth League is busy spreading lies and misinformation.
The DA in KwaZulu-Natal fully supports MEC Rodgers’ efforts to clean up the mess left by the ANC in this province. We are proud of the progress made under his stewardship, from fighting against the systemic closure of Ithala SOC Ltd to working towards the financial independence of the AmaZulu Royal Household.
We condemn the ANCYL’s baseless claims that we are working with the IFP to take over municipalities run by the ANC. The people of KwaZulu-Natal know that the DA is committed to serving their interests, not playing petty politics.
It’s time for the ANC Youth League to wake up and smell the coffee. The youth of KwaZulu-Natal deserve leaders who will deliver real change, not just empty slogans and struggle songs.
MEC Rodgers has shown that he is committed to making a difference, from introducing an e-tendering system to root out corruption to intervening in the Education Department to ensure teachers are paid and critical school projects can continue.
The DA in KwaZulu-Natal will continue to work tirelessly to build a better future for all the people of this province. We will not be distracted by the ANC Youth League’s lies and misinformation.
It’s time for a new generation of leaders to emerge and take KwaZulu-Natal forward – leaders who are capable, well-capacitated, and committed to delivering real change. The DA is ready to lead the way.
