It’s “all systems go!” for the historic Democratic Alliance KZN Rescue Rally which will be held at Curries Fountain Stadium this Saturday, 11 May 2024.

This rally hosted by the DA in KZN, will be the largest gathering of its public representatives and supporters in 30 years.

It is no coincidence that the DA chose to host its rally at Curries Fountain Stadium which has been the site of sporting and cultural history, as well as political mobilisation over the last 100 years. It has always been a place where mobilisation led to change in the province and country.

The rally will see leaders from across the country and province descend on eThekwini to deliver speeches that will inspire the people of KwaZulu-Natal to vote for the DA and make Chris Pappas the next Premier.

The DA in KZN is excited to hear from DA Federal Leader, John Steenhuisen, DA Provincial Leader, Francois Rodgers, DA Chief Whip, Siviwe Gwarube, and DA National Spokesperson, Solly Malatsi, as well as receive the keynote address delivered by DA KZN Premier Candidate, Chris Pappas.

Top South African musical sensations like Babes Wudomo, DJ Tira, Gatsheni, DJ Cndo and Dladla Mshunqisi will perform at this historic event which brings another level of excitement to the rally.

In attendance of the rally will also be the Democratic Alliance KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Leadership, Members of Parliament, Members of the Provincial Legislature, the Deputy Mayor of uMngeni, the Speaker of uMngeni, the Deputy Mayor of uMhlathuze and Councillors from across the province as they prepare to mobilise their communities ahead of the election on the 29th of May 2024.

That such an event is even taking place is testament to the growth of the DA in KwaZulu-Natal and the support that our Premier Candidate, Chris Pappas, has amongst the people of the province and will serve as a spring board for the last 18 days of the election.

The DA in KZN is confident that everything is in place to host this successful event and looks forward to welcoming thousands of people from across the province on Saturday.
