The DA in KwaZulu-Natal is pleased to announce the appointment of Mmabatho Tembe, MPL (view here), as Legislature Caucus Spokesperson.
The move comes as the DA prepares to govern the province in 2024 and as it strengthens its position as KZN’s only effective opposition.
Mmabatho is the current DA KZN Spokesperson on Social Development and Quality of Life and has proved highly effective in this role.
She is a former DA eThekwini Councillor, having served on both the eThekwini Economic Development and Community Services committees, where she served as Whip for two terms.
She is also a former DA Ward 33 Councillor and Secretary of the Central Durban constituency, where she also served as DAWN and ADAC representative.
The DA is delighted to have Mmabatho step into this crucial role as we gear up for the 2024 elections and bring about the change so desperately needed in our province.
